Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Education Department has issued an order making every morning assembly mandatory in the schools of the state. The Education Department also suggested that it should start with the singing of the National Anthem. In the assembly three or four students or teachers should give an informative and motivational speech.
The education department also said that assembly speeches can include biographies of great souls and freedom fighters, details of school programs, topics related to a particular month or week, character building, student achievement, stress relief, health-related knowledge.
