Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju announced that the first session of the 18th Lok Sabha will begin on June 24. The first conference will be held till the end of July. During the first meeting, the oath of the members and the election of the Speaker will be held.
On the first three days of the conference, the members will be sworn in. Speaker election will be held after that. The Rajya Sabha session will be held from June 27 to July 3.
President Draupadi Murmu will address Parliament on June 27. After that, the Prime Minister will present the programs for the next one year in Parliament. The Prime Minister will reply after the motion of thanks on the President’s policy speech.
