New Delhi: The civil service preliminary exam scheduled for May 26 has been postponed to June 16. In a press release, UPSC informed that the examination date has been changed keeping in mind the Lok Sabha elections.
Last year there were 1105 vacancies in civil service. But this year there are 1056 vacancies. There are 150 vacancies in Forest Service. Meanwhile, the civil service main exam will begin on September 20.
