Mananthavadi: UDF announced hartal on today in Wayanad. The hartal was announced after one more person died in a wild elephant attack within a week.
The UDF leadership informed that the hartal will be observed from 6 am to 6 pm. Along with the UDF, the LDF has announced a hartal. The LDF hartal has demanded that three people were killed in the wild animal attack and that the central and state governments should intervene urgently.
Paul (55), an employee of the Kurua Island Tourist Center who was injured in the wild elephant attack, died. The death occurred at Kozhikode Medical College. Katana attacked at Cherimala junction around 9:30 in the morning.
