Kollam: Kannur won gold crown in the state school arts festival. Kannur reached the first position with 952 points. After a gap of 23 years, Kannur is chasing the gold crown. This is the fourth time that Kannur has won the title in the state school arts festival.
Kozhikode got the second position with 949 points and Palakkad got the third position with 938 points. Among the schools, Palakkad Alathur BSS Gurukulam Higher Secondary School came first with 249 points. Thiruvananthapuram Vazhuthacaud Carmel Higher Secondary School came second with 116 points.
Minister V. Shivankutty said that no announcement will be made today regarding the next arts festival. Multiple districts have come forward with the demand. The minister stated that these matters will be considered and the next venue will be decided.
