New Delhi: The counting of votes for Mizoram assembly elections has been postponed to December 4. The change of Election Commission is taking into account the demand of Christian organizations and Congress to change the election that was to be held on Sunday. Counting of votes in other states will take place on Sunday itself.
Meanwhile, exit polls predict that the Zoram People’s Movement will win in Mizoram. The Mizo National Front (MNF), an ally of the NDA, is ruling the state. Zorum People’s Movement (ZPM) is MNF’s main opponent this time.
