The ISRO has stated that the LPDC images play a crucial role in assisting the Lander Module in determining its precise position, including latitude and longitude, by matching them against an onboard moon reference map.
On Monday, a senior scientist from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) stated that the agency will proceed with the landing of the spacecraft only under favorable conditions on the designated day. In the event, if the conditions are not favorable, a new attempt will be made on August 27.
