Ukraine: A young Russian spy has been arrested on charges of plotting to assassinate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the security agency said. This was revealed by the Ukrainian security agency SBU.
In July, Zelenskiy visited flood-affected areas in southern Mykolaiv. The woman was working in a shop near the army base in the area. Here, the young woman captured pictures and scenes of the military centers.
The SBU said that they also tried to find out Zelensky’s travel plan here. If convicted, the punishment is up to 12 years in prison. Russia has not commented on the arrests.
Ukraine has always accused pro-Russian locals of passing information to help the Russian military.
