The US Coast Guard has confirmed that the Titan, a submarine that went to see the wreckage of the Titanic, exploded inside. The five passengers of the submarine that went missing in the Atlantic Ocean died. It is reported that the explosion occurred near the wreckage of the Titanic.
British billionaire Hamish Harding, Pakistani tycoon Shahzada Dawood and his son Sulaiman, Submersible Company CEO Stockton Rund and Captain Paul Henry were on board the Titan. Titan is a submarine owned by Oceangate Expeditions, a private company that organizes deep-sea expeditions.
The wreckage of the Titanic was 1,600 feet away from the Titanic. The 6.7 meter long and 3.5 km per hour Titan was free to travel in the ocean. Even a small crack in the submarine’s carbon fiber or titanium hull can cause an implosion. The submarine had only enough oxygen to last till 4.30 pm today.

Within one to three-quarter hours of the journey, Titan lost contact with the mother boat. It is reported that Stockton Rush, CEO of Ocean Gate Expeditions, British billionaire Hamish Harding, French naval expert Paul Henry Narjoule, Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood, son Suleman and Dawood, who organized the travel program on Titan, may have died.
