New Delhi: The Central Meteorological Department said that due to the formation of low pressure in the Bay of Bengal, the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea should not go fishing until further notice.
Meanwhile, there is no disruption to fishing along the Kerala-Lakshadweep coast. The Central Meteorological Department has also informed that one should not go fishing on the coast of Karnataka.
Strong winds with a speed of 40 to 50 mph and occasional gusting to 60 mph are expected along the coast of Karnataka along with bad weather conditions.
Meanwhile, the low pressure formed in the Bay of Bengal has strengthened. The Meteorological Center has warned that there will be extreme low pressure in the coming hours. A yellow alert has also been issued in three districts today. The alert has been issued in Pathanamthitta, Wayanad, and Idukki districts. There is a warning that there will be heavy rain in the coming hours. The chance of heavy rain at isolated places is also predicted.
