New Delhi: AAP leaders protesting Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s interrogation by CBI are being taken into police custody. Those protesting in front of the Delhi CBI headquarters are being taken into custody. Because of the protest, the Delhi Police has made heavy security arrangements at the AAP headquarters, near Arvind Kejriwal’s residence, and at the CBI headquarters. Ignoring this, AAP activists came to protest.
Kejriwal appeared for questioning after paying floral tributes at the Gandhi Samadhi earlier.
Ahead of the questioning, Kejriwal had spoken to the media at his residence. Arvin Kejriwal reached the CBI headquarters around 11 am. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP MPs also came to support him. The CBI is interrogating Kejriwal seeking clarity on the claims of the accused including former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the liquor policy scam case. Kejriwal responded that he would fully cooperate with the questioning and that if he is corrupt, there is no one honest in the world.
