New Delhi: India ranks 8th in the list of worst air pollution countries in the world. 39 of the top 50 most polluted cities are in India. The ‘World Air Quality Report’, the annual report was released by IQ Care, a Swiss organization.
Bhiwadi in Rajasthan, Delhi, Darbhanga, Azopur, and Patna in Bihar are among the top ten cities. The ranking in air pollution is based on the level of PM 2.5, a pollutant closely monitored by scientists and health experts.
