Ahmedabad: Heroin was caught trying to smuggle from Pakistan to India via drone. The Border Security Force seized 2.6 kg of heroin worth more than 12 crores in the international market. The incident took place in Gadsana in Sriganganagar district of Rajasthan.
The drone was shot down by the BSF when it was noticed that it was depositing the package down. The security forces caught two people who came to collect the package that fell on the floor and are interrogating them. Ringu alias Harjinder and Sandeep, both natives of Phasalika in Punjab, have been handed over to the Narcotics Control Bureau for questioning.
