There was widespread rain in various parts of the UAE yesterday. Sharjah Ajman Ras Al Khaimah has received heavy rain since morning. It was overcast everywhere in the country. Water has entered the roads in many places in the Sharjah Ajman emirates. The Sharjah Municipal Corporation has informed that proper preparations have been made in the last few days following the rain warning and the steps to remove the waterlogs are progressing rapidly. There was traffic jam in many places. The cold has been strong in the country.
At the same time, Ras Al Khaimah police said that the road to Jebel Jais, one of the main tourist spots in the country, has been closed due to heavy rains. The police have also asked the motorists to avoid valleys for their safety. The authorities have warned that unstable weather will continue in the country in the coming days.
