Moscow: 11 people were killed in a shooting at a military training center in Russia. 15 people were injured in the incident. The shooting was aimed at those who volunteered to fight for Russia and were engaged in military training.
The attack took place on Saturday in the southwestern Belgorod region. The attackers were shot dead, the Russian news agency RIA reported, citing the Russian Defense Ministry. The injured were admitted to the hospital.
The attack was on those who were training to use the gun. The Russian Defense Ministry has identified the attackers as citizens of a former Soviet Union country. The ministry also said that the attack on them was a ‘terrorist’ attack.
