Stockholm: The 2022 Nobel Prize in Economics goes to three people. The award goes to Ben S. Bernanke, and two U.S.-based economists, Douglas W. Diamond and Philip H. Dybvig. The award is for research on banks and financial crises.
The organizing committee has decided to celebrate the award ceremony this year, which was not held for two years due to Covid.
