New Delhi: CBI to investigate actress and BJP leader Sonali Phogat’s death. The case was taken over by the CBI on the instructions of the Union Home Ministry.
The family had earlier come forward demanding that the central agency investigate the case. Sonali’s family had put forward this demand in a meeting with the Haryana Chief Minister.
Subsequently, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had written to the Goa Chief Minister seeking a recommendation to hand over the case to the CBI.
