Mumbai: Actor Salman Khan got a license to use a gun. The actor was granted a license by the Mumbai Police for self-defense. The decision was taken in the background of death threats to the actor from unknown persons. A permit to possess a firearm is granted.
Following the death threat, Salman met Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar on July 22 and applied for the license. The application was then forwarded to the DCP in charge of Zone 9, where Salman resides, and the gun license was issued on his instructions.
