The wedding of South Indian playback singer Swetha Mohan took place at Le Meridien,Kochi on 16th of January 2011.She is the daughter of famous singer Sujatha Mohan and Dr.Mohan.she exchanged wedding vows with long time friend Ashwin.Playback singer Yesudas,music director V Dakshinamurthy and Kerala culture affairs minister M A Baby were among those who attended the ceremony here.The engagement was held in Chennai last year on April 18.It is love come arranged marriage as both have been family members from a long period of time.Click here to view Swetha Mohan Wedding Photo Gallery

Swetha had proved herself to be a versatile singer in a short career of few years and had already sang for films in all south Indian languages and in Hindi.She has also recieved the Kerala State Award.Swetha Mohan most beautiful songs in malayalam are Mandarapoo Mooli from Vinodayathra,Amma Mazhakarinu from the film Madambi,Kolakuzhal Viliketto from movie Nivedhyam,Sundari Onnu from Lion.Shewtha Mohan sang the Tamil song Boom Boom Robo Da in the famous South Indian cinema Enthiran the Robot. Her song in Achcham Achcham Illai from Tamil movie Indira is one of her best tamil songs.
